Ariel Simone Fashion Shoot

I recently had the pleasure of shooting some wonderful pieces for a up and coming Twin Cities designer, Adrienne Yancy creator of Ariel Simone clothing.

Ariel Simone is a hand-made clothing brand created by dynamic, young designer Adrienne Yancy. Originally launched from her college dorm room at Howard University with the sale of a sexy halter dress, Yancy has developed ArielSimone into a full collection sold online at ArielSimone.etsy.com. The collection features an array of styles for the confident fashion-forward woman including swimwear, separates, cocktail dresses, and one-of-a-kind gowns.
Yancy graduated magna cum laude from Howard University in 2008 with a BA in Fashion Merchandising. Since then she has continued the growth and development of ArielSimone from her home base in Plymouth, Minnesota. However, her collection is inspired from her life of international travel with visits to Paris, Mexico, and the islands of St. Croix. A particularly strong influence on Yancy was The Bahamas where the local flavor and vibrant colors are now reflected in the fabrics she chooses.
Adrienne’s unique talents blend sophistication, class and elegance to create designs for a variety of shapes and sizes that appeal to all ages. Yancy’s style is personal, custom, and one-of-a-kind. She is inspired by the bold fashion and lifestyle choices of Josephine Baker. Her use of vibrant colors and rich fabrics are meant to accentuate a woman’s individual beauty and allow her to celebrate her style in what she wears.

The women who wear ArielSimone are interested in fashion and certainly know when, where and how much skin to show. This line is sexy and sophisticated, and designed to accentuate the loveliest parts of a woman’s body with the class and style that discerning fashion clients expect,” states Yancy.
ArielSimone has been featured in numerous fashion shows on a national level including shows in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York and Minneapolis. ArielSimone has also been featured in several papers and magazines including Plymouth Magazine, Mpls. St. Paul Magazine, The Knot, Vita.MN Magazine, The Star Tribune, The Upload, and City Pages.
